Cash or checks may be mailed to or dropped off at our office.  Please make checks payable to Habitat for Humanity of Utah County.  Our address is 1119 S 1680 West, Orem, 84058.  Your donations are tax-deductible to the extent of the law.

Credit Card Donations are accepted on-line through Habitat for Humanity International's secure web site.   Follow this link and specify that you'd like the donation to go directly to Habitat for Humanity of Utah County:  ON-LINE DONATIONS

Equity transfers are also possible; contact our office at 344-8527 for details.

Land/Property Donations or Discounts are always useful as well.  The difference between our purchase price and the fair market value can be written off as a charitable donation.  Make us an offer we can't refuse!

Cars may be donated through Cars For Homes™.  Your vehicle donation can help a family build a home, and the hope of a better life!  Car, truck, boat and RV donations help Habitat for Humanity build houses in partnership with families in need of decent, affordable shelter. Donate a car, truck, boat, RV or other vehicle to Cars for Homes™, Habitat for Humanity’s car donation program, by calling 1-877-277-4344 toll free, or online at www.carsforhomes.org

Gift Card or Certificate donations are also very helpful.  We'd especially appreciate those from building supply stores, such as Home Depot or Lowe's, or from local grocery stores, which will help feed our hungry and deserving volunteer groups on Work Days.

Material ("in kind") Donations - See ReStore

Donors over age 70: decrease your tax burden and donate directly from your IRA.  The Pension Protection Act of 2006 allows people to make tax-free charitable donations from their Individual Retirement Accounts to qualifying organizations, such as Habitat for Humanity, for up to $100,000 during the remainder of 2007.  The IRA Rollover joins several other options, from bequeathing money in a will to participating in a gift annuity program, offered by Habitat for Humanity International's Planned Giving department.  Last fiscal year, this department provided the funds to build thousands of houses around the world.  You can be a part of this exciting hope-building work!

There are a few restrictions that apply toe the IRA rollover - for example, 401(k) and 403(b) and other qualifying retirements plans are not included, so partners interested in the program should consult their financial planners.  HFHI's Planned Giving Department has more information available by emailing plannedgiving@habitat.org.  Remember to specify that you'd to keep your donations in your community by directing funds to us at Habitat for Humanity of Utah County.
